SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – Akron’s new fire chief will be sworn in Tuesday afternoon. The ceremony for Chief Leon Henderson will be held at Akron Civic Knight Stage. The community is invited to meet Chief Henderson on Wednesday, July 10 from 5-6:30 p.m. at the Akron Summit County Public Library’s Main Library at 60 S. High St.
