The company’s commitment to maintaining $30 million in annual payroll for a decade, along with a 30-year tax rebate agreement in Akron, highlights a dedication to our city’s financial health.

Amazon’s substantial presence in Ohio includes:

• 16 fulfillment and sortation centers

• 17 delivery stations

• 1 air gateway

• 12 Whole Foods stores

• 17 solar farms

• 1 wind farm

• Numerous other facilities

The economic impact of these facilities is profound. With 8,500 workers employed in Ohio and an overall investment of $5 billion in the state, Amazon stands to make significant profits from its operations in our cities.
