Local sheriff: Man found lying in intersection

GREEN, Ohio (WJW) – The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was hit by a vehicle in Green.

According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the 3800 block of South Main Street just after 8 p.m. Monday.

Deputies found a 62-year-old man lying in the intersection, according to the sheriff.

The man, who has not been identified, was taken to the hospital. There is no word on his injuries.

According to the sheriff’s office, the man had been kicked out of a local business for being unruly and intoxicated.

The driver has not been identified.

No one has been charged.
