A special screening of the 1996 film “Twister” and live Q&A with Academy Award-winning actress Helen Hunt has been canceled for Saturday evening at the Akron Civic Theatre due to a scheduling conflict, the theater announced Thursday.
An alternate date has not yet been set, so all tickets will be refunded at their point of purchase.
A buy-one-get-one ticket deal had been offered for the Hunt event. An online check of seats available on Ticketmaster early Thursday afternoon appeared that about one-fourth of the house had been sold.
