CANTON − From noon to 10 p.m. Oct. 4, the following streets will be closed for First Friday activities, according to the Canton Police Department.
Market Avenue N from Fifth Street to Second Street
Third and Fourth streets N from McKinley Avenue NW to Cherry Avenue NE
Dewalt Avenue NW from Second Street to Fifth Street NW
Court Avenue NW from Second Street to Fifth Street NW
Piedmont Avenue NE from Fifth Street to Third Street NE
Rex Avenue NE from Second Street to Fourth Street NE
Cleveland Avenue and Walnut Avenue will remain open. Expect increased vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Expect possible backups on Market Avenue N from Fifth Street to the Palace Theatre as show cars register for the event between 4 and 5 p.m.
Detours will be McKinley Avenue and Cherry Avenue on the east and west, Tuscarawas Street on the south and Ninth Street on the north.
