Dark smoke billowed over Portage County on Saturday as a devastating fire broke out at Aero Industries.
The Brimfield Fire Department battled the blaze Saturday afternoon at the tarp manufacturer located on Sunnybrook Road.
In a Facebook post, Brimfield Fire Chief Craig Mullaly no injuries were reported.
The business, while heavily damaged, was saved.
Fire departments from Kent, Mogadore, Randolph, Ravenna Township, Rootstown and Suffield helped extinguish the fire.
