STREETSBORO, Ohio (WKBN) – Crestview topped South Range in straight sets (25-9, 25-15, 25-13) to claim a Division V District Championship on Thursday evening at Streetsboro High School.
The Rebels have now won six consecutive district titles.
Abbey Emch led Crestview with 18 kills, 2 blocks, and 15 digs. Lainy Auer added 13 kills, 9 assists, and 10 digs.
Sophia Stewart piled up 26 assists with 5 aces, while Natalie Blakeman tallied 2 aces and 8 digs.
South Range was led by Anna Toy who tallied 5 kills and 9 digs. Hayden Carey added 4 assists and 4 digs, while Addison Freedy tallied 5 digs and 2 aces.
With the win, Crestview remains unbeaten at 25-0. The Rebels advance to face the winner of Mentor Lake Catholic/Massillon Tuslaw in the Division V Regional Semifinals on Thursday Oct. 31.
