FirstEnergy Corp. reported that more than 700 of its Portage County customers are without power as of about 7 a.m., including more than 500 in Shalersville Township. Much smaller numbers were reported without power in Ravenna, Ravenna Township and Streetsboro. More than 1,500 were reported without power countywide just a short timer before.
