UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) – A Facebook post by University Heights Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan , in which he criticized voters in a precinct that supported Donald Trump for President, led to a heated city council meeting on Monday night.
During the public comment period of the meeting, voters in the predominantly Jewish precinct carried by the former President blasted Mayor Brennan for the post that he later deleted.

One of the first speakers, Rabbi Raphael Davidovich told the mayor, “In order for this harm to be healed, I think something needs to be said to separate one’s public voice from one’s private voice.”
In the mayor’s post election post, University Heights Vice Mayor Michele Weiss and Council Member Sheri Sax were singled out by Brennan for the outcome in the red precinct, that the mayor proclaimed was in a sea of blue.
