MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH – A restaurant chain has opened a new location in the city.
Are you craving Mediterranean food? If you answered yes to that question, you might want to know that the chain Pita Way has opened a new restaurant in Middleburg Heights at 19077 Bagley Rd. According to the restaurant’s social media account, the new location celebrated its grand opening on December 9.
The restaurant’s menu includes customizable sandwiches (which are served on white pita bread), quesopitas (which are the restaurant’s take on quesadillas that are made on pita), and bowls. Base options for bowls include yellow rice, hummus, salad, and tabbouli.
First, you fill the sandwich/quesopita/bowl with one of these protein options: grilled dark meat chicken, grilled white meat chicken, gyro meat, crispy chicken, or falafel. Then you can add toppings like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumbers, mild peppers, jalapenos, pickles, pickled turnips, tourshi (pickled veggies), beets, chickpeas, tabbouli, yellow rice, parsley, pita chips, French fries, and/or black olives. You can then add cheddar or feta cheese. Finally, you can pick up to 3 of the following sauces: chipotle fire sauce, Pita Way white sauce, fattoush dressing, tahini, garlic, hummus, or spicy hummus.
