Body camera video shows Cuyahoga County sheriff’s deputies unravelling the mystery and getting the suspect to confess.

The case began in July and it just wrapped up in court.

Records show a threat to “shoot and harm” Judge Russo and “shoot up” the Cuyahoga County Justice Center downtown.

That caused terror and alarm.

Body camera video shows investigators going to see an inmate at a halfway house.

“Why was this all of a sudden brought up?” a deputy asked.

Joshua West answered, “I’m not lying. I have no reason to lie. Look you in the eye.”

Judge Russo has become known for handling cases without any nonsense. But what about a threat putting her in danger?

Deputies gave her extra protection at her home, and they hit the streets.
