SCHOOL CLOSINGS: Check the list of 100+

(WJW) – It’s supposed to be the first day back to school for many students who have been out for winter break, but a major winter storm just south of Northeast Ohio is forcing some schools to close.

Although the heaviest snow and greatest travel impacts will stay well south of the area, the storm system is bringing widespread light snow and it’s impacting the morning commute.

Early Monday morning, FOX 8 radar showed snow all across Northeast Ohio with some packets of heavier snow.
