CLEVELAND — For Northeast Ohio seniors, those Medicare Part B premiums that come right out of your Social Security check are going up to $185 per month, about a $10 increase from 2024. The deductible is also climbing to $257.
But here’s some good news for seniors struggling with prescription costs: There’s now a $2,000 cap on out-of-pocket drug expenses under Medicare Part D.
Once you hit that limit, you won’t pay another penny for covered medications for the rest of the year, and if coming up with that $2,000 is tough, Medicare will let you spread those payments out monthly…
