SEVILLE , Ohio (WJW) — A semi truck overturned on the ramp from Interstate 71 South to U.S. Route 224 West in Westfield Township, Medina County , according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol spokesperson. ODOT closed the ramp as well as the rightmost lane on U.S. 224 on Thursday afternoon.

The truck was carrying about 75,000 pounds of cardboard and took the ramp too fast, overturning on the driver side, according to the patrol.
The driver suffered minor injuries that did not require transport to a hospital, according to the patrol. The driver was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
