Ohio regulators weigh FirstEnergy’s plan to raise electric bills: Here’s what it means for you

CLEVELAND — This spring, the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) is considering an application by FirstEnergy to increase distribution rates for its Ohio Edison, Toledo Edison, and Illuminating Company customers.

Before PUCO makes its decision, the agency will be hosting public hearings in Cleveland and Akron over the next few days.
