GREEN, Ohio — Electric bills are going up across Summit County this summer, and it goes without saying that many aren’t happy with it.
3News asked city of Green Mayor Rocco Yeargin why the rates were going up.
“We had an artificially low rate and what was happening while our rate was locked in, was the market was going higher and higher,” he responded. “So now that our contract is over, we’re catching up to the market, and that’s what people are concerned about.”…
