According to Walmart, the stores it plans to remodel in Ohio this year are:

- Circleville : 1470 S. Court St.
- Columbus : 2700 Bethel Road
- East Liverpool : 16280 Dresden Ave.
- Franklin : 1275 E. 2nd St.
- Hamilton : 1505 Main St.
- Kenton : 1241 E. Columbus St.
- Lebanon : 1530 Walmart Drive
- Marietta : 804 Pike St.
- Marysville : 555 Colemans Crossing Blvd.
- Napoleon : 1815 Scott St.
- Perrysburg : 10392 Fremont Pike
- Poland : 1300 Doral Drive
- Reynoldsburg : 2793 Taylor Road Ext.
- Toledo : 2925 Glendale Ave.

Remodels are subject to change based on construction schedules and other factors, Walmart stated.
What’s new in the Walmart remodels?
Stores included in the remodel plans will be getting several new features, including:
- Bigger signage and new displays to better showcase merchandise.
- Expanded departments with new items and better selection.
- Expanding online pickup and delivery orders.
- A new pharmacy with wider aisles, new private screening rooms and privacy checkout areas.
“Our stores often serve as the heartbeat of the communities we operate in, and these remodels are a testament to our dedication to enhancing that role,” Glenda Fleming Willis, Walmart senior vice president for the North Business Unit, said in an April 23 press release. “By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric.”
How many Walmart stores are in Ohio?
Walmart operates 138 supercenters in Ohio, including seven in Cincinnati, five in Columbus, three in Dayton, two each in Canton, Dublin and Hamilton, and one in Akron.
Sam’s Club to open 15 new stores per year, remodel current ones
Sam’s Club, which is owned by Walmart, recently announced it would open about 15 new stores per year and remodel all 600 of its existing stores across the country, USA TODAY reports .
