Near-record heat returns to NE Ohio next week, bringing chance for severe thunderstorms

CLEVELAND, Ohio — While the weekend will start damp and chilly with highs struggling to break out of the 50s both Saturday and Sunday, you won’t have to wait long for our next warm-up.

After seasonable but slightly below average temperatures on Sunday, above average temperatures will return to the region Monday with highs in the low- to mid-70s. Those pleasant temperatures will be accompanied by mostly sunny skies.
