WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – Strong storms swept across Northeast Ohio on Tuesday evening, causing significant damage in some areas and knocking out power to thousands of residents.
One viewer, Deb Wiles, shared a photo of ominous clouds spotted over the community of Sterling in Wayne County amid the storms.
Another viewer, Christina Phillips, shared photos of dark storm clouds above their backyard in West Salem.
Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued across Northeast Ohio, as well as Tornado Warnings in Carroll, Medina and Wayne counties. Those weather alerts have since expired as storms moved out of the region…
