MARIETTA — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Canton man on drug charges and a kidnapping warrant.
Sheriff Mark Warden reported that a high-speed pursuit was initiated Thursday by deputies, with assistance from the Marietta Police Department, which resulted in the arrest of Jontaveis L. Drake-Crockett, a suspect with an active felony warrant for kidnapping, and in the seizure of significant quantities of illegal drugs.
