KENT, Ohio — Since May of 2021, visitors to Kent, Ohio, in the summertime have grown accustomed to seeing part of Franklin Avenue closed off to traffic as a part of the city’s designated outdoor refreshment area, also known as a D.O.R.A.
That may be changing this summer due to a city council proposal that’s on the table, leading to some divide between local businesses.
