CANTON, Ohio (WJW) — The Stark County Sheriff’s Office will conduct two sobriety checkpoints on Friday, May 16, as part of ongoing efforts to reduce impaired driving, Sheriff Eric Weisburn announced Friday.
The checkpoints, organized in coordination with the Stark County OVI Task Force, will include roadside stops to screen drivers for signs of alcohol and drug impairment.

Deputies and other participating officers will be on alert for impaired motorists.
