AKRON , Ohio (WJW) — A new event is coming to the Akron Zoo for one weekend during the month of May.
Dinosaurs at the Akron Zoo?!
The zoo announced this week it would be hosing its first Renaissance Faire the weekend of May 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event will feature a vendor area, live performances and live demonstrations including blacksmithing, sword fighting and glass blowing.
Guests are encouraged to dive into the spirit of the faire by dressing in their best renaissance attire. There will even be a costume contest for different age ranges with prizes available!…
