MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – An intoxicated Lakewood woman, 41, was arrested May 7 after she ran her sport-utility vehicle into a speed-limit sign and three mailboxes, then drove away.
Another driver called police at about 11 a.m. and said she saw the SUV, while traveling southbound on Meadow Lane, veer off the right side of the road and over a curb.
After hitting the sign and mailboxes, the SUV continued southbound on Meadow, then pulled into the driveway of a home. The driver, later identified as the Lakewood woman, stepped out of the SUV with a dog and entered the house…
