CLEVELAND, Ohio – The cold, windy weather won’t seem to go away this spring, shutting down Lake Erie and the Northeast Ohio reservoirs this past week while rains have the rivers swollen once again.
The climate experts say its the result of warm air in the Arctic causing the polar vortex to weaken, sending unseasonably cold air to the Midwest.
It won’t last forever, though. The Northeast Ohio rivers may be high and muddy now, but they’re forecast to settle down later this weekend. Temperatures will be be in the 60s next week, and soar to the 70s as June makes an appearance…
