Wet weather doesn’t stop Medina from celebrating Juneteenth

MEDINA, Ohio – For the fourth year in a row, hundreds gathered on Medina’s square to celebrate freedom and solidarity with the community’s observance of Juneteenth.

Despite the wet weather early in the day, the gazebo was surrounded by visitors of all ages and backgrounds visiting a myriad of vendors and singing along to music provided by a Motown jazz band and the Sanyuka Children’s Choir from Uganda.
