Human remains found in PA over 4 decades ago identified as Ravenna woman

PERRY COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Pennsylvania State Police have identified human remains found along Route 322 in Perry County in 1979.

PSP says the remains were severely decomposed and mostly skeletonized when they were located over an embankment along the shore of the Juniata River.

She was found with turquoise jewelry, and was named by investigators as the “girl with the turquoise jewelry.”…
