WESTLAKE, Ohio –
An employee of the Cheesecake Factory on Crocker Road phoned the Westlake Police Department at 2:15 p.m. on June 10 to report that a female customer had been the victim of a theft.
She had been seated while eating on the patio. When she checked her purse, she noticed that her wallet was missing. Officers reviewed surveillance video and spotted a couple who had been acting suspiciously. The man and woman arrived separately, sat next to the victim, and left the area in less than two minutes.
