CLEVELAND, Ohio – A former Canton doctor, scheduled to complete a prison sentence for attempted murder this fall, could face more time behind bars if he’s convicted on federal charges filed following an investigation by ICE.
A federal grand jury indicted 46-year-old Yousif Abdulraouf Alhallaq on a charge of naturalization fraud, alleging he provided false information on a U.S. citizenship application and interview.
Alhallaq is scheduled to be released from Lake Erie Correctional Institution in August, after completing a 4-year prison term for attempted murder and felonious assault in connection with the poisoning of a pregnant woman in 2014…
