Nationwide — Kristina Jacobson, a 39-year-old woman from Akron, Ohio, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole after being found guilty of raping an infant and other related sexual crimes. Her co-defendant, Scott Jacobson, was also sentenced to life in prison last year.
Jacobson was convicted of rape, gross sexual imposition, and two counts involving illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. The sentencing came just two weeks after the jury found her guilty in Summit County court.
Summit County Prosecutor Elliot Kolkovich condemned the crime, saying Jacobson exploited a child who couldn’t defend herself. “There is simply no excuse for this abhorrent crime,” he told WKYC…
