AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – An overnight crash blocked part of the Central Interchange in Akron for hours Monday morning.
FOX 8’s Patty Harken reported that the crash took place along I-76 westbound shortly before 3 a.m. and involved two vehicles.

A witness tells FOX 8 the crash appeared to be caused by a wrong-way driver.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, all lanes along I-76 westbound were closed for several hours, including the ramp from I-76 west to State Route 8 north. The interstate reopened shortly before 7 a.m.
The condition of those involved was not immediately clear…
