CLEVELAND (WJW) – A Berea man who dealt fentanyl-laced drugs that caused three fatal overdoses in one day was sentenced to prison, the Department of Justice announced.
On Tuesday, 32-year-old Jarad Paster was sentenced to 14 and a half years in prison after pleaded guilty to multiple drug-related charges.
He was also ordered to serve “three years of supervised release after imprisonment,” the DOJ said in a Friday press release.

According to court records, Paster and a Lakewood man, Matthew Jarrell, “knowingly conspired to sell illegal drugs, in particular cocaine and fentanyl which are Schedule II controlled substances, and para-fluorofentanyl, a Schedule I controlled substance” during April of 2023…
