CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) – A teen was struck and dragged by a car Wednesday evening in Canton after being confronted by the driver just seconds before.
17-year-old Isaiah Wilkinson of Canton said that he and his brother, Brennan, were walking home around 830pm when a vehicle with a group of people inside approached them at Cherry Avenue S.E. and 14th Street S.E. He said the driver, whom he said he doesn’t know, got out and confronted him, asking if he had a knife. The driver then got back into her vehicle and sped toward him and his brother. Brennan had to jump up on a retaining wall to escape being hit. Isaiah wasn’t so lucky he was hit and dragged about 15 feet, leaving him with a bad case of road rash, bruising, and a broken wrist.
“From right here, all the way up, it’s like gone. It’s there, but the top layer of skin is gone. Then on my hand I have some bad cuts, and I broke my wrist.”…
