BARBERTON, Ohio (WJW) – Just since May, residents in Barberton believe the power outages have been more frequent and longer than they have ever been.
“We’ve had well over a dozen outages between May and June alone. We haven’t had that many power outages on the south side in all of my years there combined,” said Councilman at-large Thomas Bebe Heitic.
“This past year, we have had a lot of them,” said George Garman, a resident of the New Haven development. “It was out that one day for two days. That’s a long time and then we lose all of our food in our freezer.”
