Baby cow, ‘Benny,’ rescued from Tuscarawas River again

CANAL FULTON, Ohio (WOIO) -Firefighters rescued a baby cow that fell into the Tuscarawas River again on Thursday.

Less than a month ago, the calf needed a rescue from the same river.

According to a Facebook post by the Canal Fulton and Lawrence Township Fire Department, 911 calls from canoeists and others spotting the baby cow alerted firefighters to the Tuscarawas River.

Since firefighters have gotten to know him so well, they named the calf ‘Benny.’…
