It was an event that could have easily spiraled into tragedy on June 7, 2024, when the Akron Police Department (APD) received several calls about a cow that had tumbled out of a trailer onto the highway near I77 N –76 E. The vehicle responsible did not stop, leaving the cow vulnerable on the asphalt.
