Confirmed: Tornado hit NE Ohio during Monday’s storms

WAYNE COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) — National Weather Service Cleveland has confirmed a tornado touched down in Wayne County Monday evening.

An EF-0 twister reportedly moved along Fox Lake Road in between Canaan Center Road and Route 3 for two minutes around 7 p.m.

A Tornado Warning was in effect for the area during that time. Storms led to flooding and high winds across much of Northeast Ohio Monday night.

FOX 8 viewer Phil Morrison shared a photo of the storm clouds coming into Dalton in Wayne County:

Thousands of FirstEnergy customers were also without power as storms blew through.
