AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – As of July 1, if you are to appear in an Akron municipal courtroom, you are expected to look the part.
Municipal Court Administrative Judge David Hamilton created the rule, a dress code that requires attorneys to be dressed in suits while litigants cannot come to court in flip flops, in bath robes or pajamas.
Those who appear in court are not permitted to wear pants that expose their undergarments or to wear their undergarments on the outside.
