CLEVELAND, Ohio – A Shaker Heights man has denied allegations that he killed Tyrese Sandford on Cleveland’s East Side in June.
Mariontae Walker, 21, appeared before Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Gallagher on Monday via teleconference from the county jail and pleaded not guilty to murder charges. She set his bond at $500,000 and ordered him to have no contact with the victim’s family.
According to prosecutors, Walker fired several shots at the passengers of a car parked near Curtiss Court and East 55th Street on June 24. Sandford, 20, who was standing outside the car, was struck by gunfire…
