Police say it’s a scam happening all over the state and an Akron, Ohio man pleaded no contest to it in Midland on Thursday.
Two other men have outstanding warrants for their arrest, said Midland County Prosecutor J. Dee Brooks.
Shiym Edwards, 29, pleaded no contest to felonies of conducting a criminal enterprise and possession of a financial transaction devise, in connection with fraudulently obtaining nearly $4,000 in lottery tickets.
