MEDINA, Ohio – For many years, the folks at Medina United Church of Christ, Congregational have designated a Sunday in August to take their church service outside.
“I’ve been here eight years, and this is a tradition that long precedes me,” said The Rev. Luke Lindon. “Our purpose is just to take this thing outside and bless the city. We are the last remaining church in the Medina square and we have been here for 206 years.”
The event, known as Alive on the Square, will take place Sunday Aug. 24 starting at 10:30 a.m. It is free entry and open to the public…
