Firefighters Rescue Stranded Tree Worker After Bucket Truck Malfunction

A tree service worker in Ohio was rescued this week after a bucket truck malfunctioned, leaving him stranded some 75 feet in the air, officials said.

The North Canton Fire Department said crews responded Wednesday to a report of a trapped tree worker. They arrived to find the worker’s bucket truck had malfunctioned while the bucket was around 75 feet off the ground.

Photos shared by the fire department show firefighters using a ladder truck to reach the worker. Firefighter Parke Adams climbed up to help the worker climb out of the bucket and onto the ladder, and both descended to safety…
