Man accused of killing Lyndhurst resident appears in court, pleads not guilty

CLEVELAND — Francisco Volinski, the man accused of killing Dorian Holt, a Lyndhurst resident, earlier this month, appeared in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court on Tuesday and entered a not guilty plea.

Previously, on Aug. 21, a Cuyahoga County grand jury indicted him on the following charges:

  • 2 counts of murder
  • 2 counts of felonious assault
  • 2 counts of obstructing justice
  • 1 count of having weapons under disability
  • 1 count of unlawful use of a weapon by a violent career criminal
  • 1 count of involuntary manslaughter

CASE DETAILS

The fatal shooting occurred on Friday, Aug. 8, when Lyndhurst police responded to a 911 call around 7:15 p.m.
