Police in Uniontown are asking for the public’s help in locating a 33-year-old woman who has not been seen since early Tuesday morning and may be traveling with her abusive boyfriend.
Uniontown Police Chief Michael Batchik said officers were called to a home for a wellbeing check Tuesday morning after Johanna Smith’s father discovered several doors to her residence left open. Smith’s father told police he last spoke to her around 3 a.m. Tuesday. When he arrived at the home around 5 a.m., Smith and her boyfriend, identified as William “Billy” Wyszynski, were gone.
Investigators believe Smith and Wyszynski may be traveling in a smaller gold Honda with black rims. The pair was last tracked in Pennsylvania and may be moving toward the Maryland or Virginia area, according to police.
Smith’s cellphone was found discarded in a field, and there is a history of domestic violence calls involving the couple, Batchik said…
