An osprey nest in Coventry Township blamed for some of the electrical outages that plagued Barberton and the Portage Lakes area this spring has been removed.
After months of planning, FirstEnergy on Aug. 27 removed the nest, built by a determined osprey earlier this year atop a transmission pole.
