Brimfield Twp. man indicted in Aug. 24 house fire, other incidents

A Brimfield Township man has been indicted on numerous charges stemming from several Portage County incidents.

Michael David Piskac, 43, faces charges of aggravated arson and burglary, both second-degree felonies; vandalism and domestic violence, both fourth-degree felonies; possession of cocaine and identity fraud, both fifth-degree felonies; and misdemeanor charges of aggravated menacing, theft, resisting arrest, obstructing official business and possessing drug abuse instruments. The indictment was filed Aug. 28 in Portage County Common Pleas Court.

Piskac also was indicted in early August in a separate case. He faces four counts each of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, all third-degree felonies. The charges stem from a February arrest on drug charges after the Portage County Sheriff’s Office reported finding meth in Piskac’s possession…
