Ohio State Highway Patrol rescues cat along Interstate 77, averts ‘cat-astrophe’

A kind-hearted Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper rescued a black cat huddling near the center median wall along Interstate 77, averting what the patrol tongue-in-cheek called a potential “cat-astrophe.”

The Canton post received a call about the cat and Trooper Blake Montgomery found and rescued it. The patrol, which announced the rescue and posted photos of the cat on Facebook on Aug. 29, didn’t say exactly where along I-77 the cat was found.
