SUMMIT COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) — Thousands of Summit County residents will no longer hear tornado sirens during severe weather.
For nearly three-decades, sirens were the first line of defense in Copley Township, blaring through the air, warning neighbors and farmers of danger ahead.
Those sirens are now going silent.
