A recent traffic stop on I-80 in Portage County led to a significant drug seizure when deputies discovered nearly 8 ounces of methamphetamine in the vehicle of a Detroit man. The Portage County Sheriff’s Office reported that 26-year-old Jaylen Davis was stopped on Wednesday for minor misdemeanor traffic violations. According to Cleveland19, deputies observed “several criminal indicators” leading to the deployment of a K9 unit, which alerted to narcotics.
Upon searching the vehicle, deputies located a vacuum-sealed package containing approximately 223 grams of methamphetamine.
