The Akron Police Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying suspects involved in a recent aggravated burglary. According to a post on the Akron Police Department’s official Facebook page, the incident occurred early on the morning of August 18, when two unidentified males allegedly entered a residence on Orlando Ave while brandishing firearms. The Akron Police have provided a description and are urging anyone with information to step forward.
At approximately 3 am, the victim was awakened in her bedroom by the two suspects, who demanded at gunpoint. The suspects were reported to be one wearing all black with a face mask and the other in a possible gray/black Columbia sweatshirt, with surgical-style masks obscuring their identities. The Akron Police Department, in an effort to quickly apprehend the individuals, is asking the community to aid in their identification. The Akron Police Department stated in their social media post.
